Once You Pop Weekly – Ep 3

Once You Pop Weekly

Who remembers four tracks?

Sometimes an artist doesn’t really register in your mind, even though they have backing from multiple money sources and hours of air play on the bland commercial stations up and down the nations of the world.  Something about the performer needs to ring a bell in your brain and this has always been my thoughts with Mr Bruno Mars.

Wearing a seventies style Afro haircut (like a boss) Mars is back and his newest “Treasure” rung that bell for me over the weekend.  Of course “Locked Out Of Heaven” was played somewhere and I had heard it, but I never jumped up and down with glee when it came on.

BTW Afro hair is back according to someone in the world of fashion.

I still love the horns in this Macklemore and Ryan Lewis collaboration with entertaining lyrics suggesting the  tongue in-check tone of the whole partnership.  “I wear your Grandads clothes” is also a line that demands attention almost one year on.

MACKLEMORE & RYAN LEWIS – THRIFT SHOP FEAT. WANZ

Justin Timberlake – Rock Your Body

Hugo Pierre Leclercq posted this video in 2011 – It went viral and now he makes music for a living.  He’s 19.  But don’t cut your throats just yet everyone over the age of thirty, he’s also French… Swings and roundabouts..  HA HA Bonjour!

Madeon – Pop Culture (live mashup)

Madeon – Minimix (Annie Mac Radio 1)
