Just for you to know this is gonna be a lazy post, lazy like the bass line in the track, but at the same time warm and good for the soul. I heard it on Pete Tong’s show last night so this ain’t a VFR exclusive.
Four man collaboration, two in each, some of them have something to do with Germany. Robosonic and Adana Twins. Told you it was lazy……. But the track is beautiful!
The rapper/singer’s voice is great, maybe it’s a sample but he keeps saying Back – Back – Back – ending in ‘Back Spin’. Sending that bass rolling on into a united choir of angels singing “so sweet” and then a cavalcade of more voices and samples that leaves you wanting to dump your face into a mountain of cocaine just like Al Pacino in Scarface. Next move, bump, flex and grind your whole body onto everyone everywhere on the dance floor.
Alternatively it could be 5 am in the morning the winter sun is just around the corner and you’re sitting at big round table on Christmas Day convincing a group of people you only just meet 4 hours earlier at your gig that this track is going to be massive. Also you insist on telling them the human race was developed and colonised by an ancient race of aliens called the Annunaki as theorised in the many books of Zecharia Sitchin….
