Moon Boots – Love Strong
This song sounds like it could have come from 1994 – sent from the past deployed on the unsuspecting public in 2013 to remind us that before people started using the words EDM “Electronic Dance Music”, they called it House music, and just like this track it was repetitive joyous groovy and infectious.
It sounds like a glockenspiel or possibly some kind of chyme’s opening ‘Love Strong’ tempting your mind to wander into an imaginary world of space travel or a possible time vortex. But don’t worry you won’t get two confused, the vocal kicks and draws you back from your self induced view of the heavens. Another instrument worth mentioning is the piano ever present in any self respecting house track and here it sits stead fast and strong as if Marshall Jefferson himself had dropped it in, effortlessly switching between piano and glockenspiel (or whatever the hell that thing is).
