The summer Movie trailer explosion is happening all around us. The most recent is X Men – “Days of Future Past”. I hope it turns out to be good, as X – Men 3, “The Last Stand”, was directed by Brett Ratner, but with input from Brian Singer who directed the first two X-Men movies and ultimately left to work on “Superman Returns”. “Stand” and “Returns” were lacking in something? Good bits generally! So, as Singer turns his hand to this installment we can only hope a fresh approach has been crafted. The trailer* is a little unimpressive, but comparatively speaking this is a year we will see “Guardians of The Galaxy” and a New Godzilla movie. The X franchise was rescued by “X-Men First Class”. The fourth movie in the series, and not directed by Singer. Although set before the previous three happened. “Days of Futures Past” jumps between timelines of all movies, utilising all cast members and is directed by Singer. Understand? Good! Lets just hope its “Usual Suspects” Brian Singer who has turned up this time, not “Super Man Returns” Brian Singer.
