Four To The Floor – Episode 34
If you live in the UK or have watched BBC 3 from your country you may have come across a show called “The Call Centre”. A delightful fly on the wall style series filmed in Swansea, Wales, UK. The premise is simple, the show documents everyday live in a company called “Save Britain Money“. Company Director Nev dances around his offices challenging staff to duels, organising extra curricular activities and keeping moral up in what I imagine can often be a hard and tedious job. The show now in it’s second year is worth a watch. The first episode of the new series has aired 24 hours before this post. One of the main characters “TWE”, who happens to be a friend of mine is perfect for the camera with his happy uber positive outlook on life and he regularly rouses his troops within the show the same way I remember him when I was living in Swansea for my University days. A genuinely funny guy, and I think all who know him would agree his appearance is not really a surprise as he plays his role perfectly. The producers and the creative team have portrayed all the staff at Swansea’s third biggest call center with affection, and the success is down in most part to the rich tapestry of characters who populate this work place. Led fearlessly by Nev who produces a quotable line each week. My favorite so far. “SWSWSWN”. Some will, some won’t, so what? Next. Voted second best place to work in the UK by The Times. “SECOND BEST PLACE!” No wonder then this has become one of the most entertaining reality TV shows in recent years…… Fucking Swansea!
