Four To The Floor – Episode 22
On my way back from a Bike ride I found this rather fetching heart shaped Christmas decoration hanging marvelously between two Birch trees, I was compelled to take a picture and this is most out of the ordinary to find beauty in Christmas lights. Positioned in the right way lights at Xmas are always pleasing but never enough to go full ‘David Bailey’. This would appear to be something the local council in Brighton have got right. Although I have a nagging doubt, if I do some investigation if will turn out to be an installation owned privately. If so thank you unnamed decoration person, this heart reminds us all, who ever you are, someone out there loves you…We hope.

Bingo Players
The dance music community is in mourning as one half of the production and DJ partnership Bingo Players, Paul Baumer lost his battle with cancer on Monday night of this week. His death brings to an end the fruitful pairing between himself and Martin Hoogstraten who have released many club shakers over the last few years. VFR’s favorite is ‘Cry’ a re-working of the Brenda Russel track ‘Piano In The Dark’. The remix is possibly not the most technical of dance productions but no less infectious, as the chorus rings in your ears, it becomes apparent the track was always meant to be ‘re-jigged’ for a House Music audience. As many tributes are posted all around the internet our thoughts are with Paul’s family at this difficult time.
